The hotel and gardens are beautiful, the staff exceptional (especially Murase Shinma) the cocktail expert in le Marquis bar. Highly recommend you pay him a visit. If you arrive by train get the bus / cab from the station. It’s a schlepp up the hill to the front of the hotel and the signage is a little misleading at the station. Overalll though, highly recommend.
