LikedWell located hotel bordering a lovely park and right next to the Tokyo Tower. Nicely appointed rooms and great views. Convenient to several subway stations.

LikedThe people are extraordinary. The gracious manner is beautiful. As others have stated, the property is a bit dated, and the bed was awful. The view was gorgeous but not worth the money paid. Pool costs extra. Again, not what you would expect from a so called 5 star hotel.

DislikedDated and small room (even with upgrade). Weird layout for a corner room with a view. Charged you extra for everything.

Likedvery good food exelent

LikedOver a 2 week trip in Japan, the room was the largest and most comfortable. Good view onto the park with balcony. Concierge desk helped book some tickets for theatre in Kyoto as website only accepted Japanese. Discreet cleaning service. Bathroom with shower and bath. Fresh slippers and pyjamas.

DislikedThis is not a 5 star property in the Western sense i.e no warm towel or cold drink offered upon arrival (especially after a long haul flight). You need to pay additional fees to use the pool, I found this somewhat off-putting considering the €3200 we were paying for the 5 nights. No obvious information on visits or excursions with Tokyo. It felt less of a hotel and more of a private building where people come and go. Other aspect was the amount of disposable toiletries and no signage on towels and water saving. I believe that this is less to do with the hotel but a large contrast to Europe.
