I had the Club Lounge access and room which had spectacular service, food and rooms. However, I got stuck at the gym & fitness facilities and could not get out! The gym was available for access after 10pm for Club members, but they take your room key cards at the reception and gives you a gym card for after hours access. So after my gym workout, I went to the sauna and spa and then the pool which was completely pitch black but accessible and felt dangerous with no lights at all. Then I proceeded to shower and get back to my room and found out I was actually stuck and all doors were locked including the door I came in from the gym?!? I was banging on the door and then I went to the pitch dark reception desk and somehow managed to dial the reception to alert them that I am stuck in the fitness centre and couldn’t get out!?! It took them awhile as initially they couldn’t open the doors and I was panicking in the pitch dark pressed the exhaust vent and button and then opened the doors. The next day there was no apologies or anything from the club lounge staff or manager when I checked out. I was going to let it go, but then the amount of money I paid for one night could have allowed me to stayed in an average hotel in Tokyo for a while week. Not a happy customer experience! Paul

LikedWe stayed in this hotel for the first time in 2013. Then in 2014, 2015 and now again in 2024. Despite the fact that the rooms have some age to them, everything is completely immaculate. Beds are comfortable, shower is amazing and the view from the large windows is lovely. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Location is excellent due to direct access to four metro-lines. Not to mention the outstanding dinner at Japanese restaurant Suiren.

LikedThe room was exceptionally comfortable and clean, especially the bed and the bathroom. One of the most comfortable set-ups I've experienced in a long time. View was stunning. I'd come back just for the tub. The location above the subway station was perfect and taxis were always on deck. An extremely good value for the quality.
DislikedThere was absent staff at the spa on two occasions, which made inquiring about services difficult.

LikedRoom is spacious and comfy with a nice view of the Tokyo cityscape. The location is superb as well, being connected to Tameike-sanno train station. There is also a convenience store just outside the hotel beside the train station. Amenities were all great and service staff were very hospitable as well.
