About Martha's Vineyard

Martha's Vineyard is a long-time New England oasis, luring beach lovers during summer. The island is perched off the coast of Massachusetts and is brimming with New England charm, from the brightly-painted gingerbread houses in Oak Bluffs to the historic lighthouses perched on the capes.

Martha's Vineyard has over 193 kilometres of pristine coastline. Movie fans flock to Menemsha Harbor & Beach, where the American thriller “Jaws” was filmed in 1975. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the stunning scenery, from leisurely bike rides through rolling farmland and yoga classes under majestic oak trees to birdwatching in the Long Point Wildlife Refuge.

Save your appetite for lobster rolls from seafood shacks, five-star meals at chef-owned restaurants and craft cocktails at chic bars. For a glimpse of the island's colourful history visit Martha's Vineyard Museum, which showcases the Gay Head Lighthouse Fresnel lens and whaling relics.
