The West Coast of Barbados is often called the “Gold Coast” or “Platinum Coast”, thanks to its postcard-perfect beaches with golden sand and blue-dappled water. The West Coast of Barbados is best explored by first flying into the capital city, Bridgetown, via Grantley Adams International Airport. You’ll find numerous hire car companies in the city to access West Coast towns like Holetown, Speightstown and Fitts Village.
