Hotel is well situated close to main locations in New York. Hotel is clean comfortable but overpriced. Hotel service on this occasion was deplorable possibly due to lazy and disinterested staff. In the past poor service has not swayed me too much on the rating of the hotel. in this case due to service being so bad I could not give it any more than a very poor rating overall.
I think the hotel itself is good. However, the food and restaurants in the hotel are way too expensive. Also, in my opinion I don't think the hotel should charge for leaving your luggage while you are waiting for the room, you are a guest of the hotel and that should not be an extra charge.
