Getting around

Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Juanda International Airport near Surabaya and Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali are the main gateways to Indonesia. Ferries connect throughout the Indonesian archipelago while trains travel across most of Java and parts of Sumatra. Buses are the main means of getting around the other islands.
