I have a habit of ending my week long vacations at a 4 or 5 star property before I head back home. Just to rejuvenate before getting back to the daily grind. I chose this hotel as I've never stayed in a Taj property prior to this. And oh my god, what a hotel it was. Supreme luxury and top notch hospitality as one would come to expect from this brand and hotel. Icing on the cake was when I got upgraded by one of your friendliest and hospitable front office personnel, Nikita Jain. What can I say about the room. Spotless, huge and so luxurious. Comes with a huge bathroom with gleaming fixtures as well. Instead of offering the guest a welcome drink at the lobby, mine was sent to my room with a plate of snacks as well. How welcoming. I knew at once that this is gonna be a great stay. As far as F&B is concerned, I patronized the Blue Bar on one of the evenings. Cocktails were perfect, slightly more than average pricing. Downside was the attentiveness of your wait staff may need some looking into. Loved the gas light fixtures outside as it was a cold night. I ordered room service a couple of times, food was incredible. The food delivery setting was equally incredible. I had breakfast included and the variety was awesome. And here as well, you may want to look into the attentiveness of your wait staff. I understand that breakfast hours can be super packed but it would be a nice touch to offer something to your guests while they are waiting a good 10 - 15 mins for a table. Other than that, I don't have anything but praises. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to my future stays at the variety of Taj properties.
