Things to do in Senmonorom

Sen Monorom is built around a pair of picturesque lakes. The scenic setting and surrounding hills have earned the town a nickname as the “Switzerland of Cambodia”. Visit small villages around Sen Monorom to learn about the indigenous Bunong people. Locals are keen to sell you beautiful handwoven baskets and jewellery.

Bou Sraa Waterfall plunges into an emerald-green pool. The 35-metre-high tiered waterfall is one of the most beautiful in Cambodia. Walk through the jungle to the viewing platform and feel the mist on your face. The waterfall is set within Bou Sraa Eco Park, where you’ll find small craft stands and cafes. You can get a bird’s eye view of the falls from the Mayura Zipline, which soars over the jungle and is one of the highest in Asia.

Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary protects 3,000 square kilometres of jungle. There’s an excellent chance to spot wild elephants, along with endangered primates like the southern yellow-cheeked gibbon and black-shanked douc langur. Guided wildlife-watching trips are the best way to explore the dense jungle.
