Burg Clam is a fairy-tale castle reimagined as a local history museum and unique venue for music concerts. The historic stronghold was built in 1454 to house the Counts of Clam and welcomes visitors with soaring stone walls, circular turrets and imposing battlements. It's perched on a hilltop overlooking the Danube Valley.
In summer, outdoor concerts are held on the spacious lawns and treat ticketholders to beautiful views of the castle and surrounding woodlands. Over the decades, Burg Clam has welcomed legendary acts, such as Lenny Kravitz, The Lumineers and Bob Dylan.
Guided tours take you behind the scenes of the historic castle. You'll get a glimpse of the beautifully furnished rooms filled with antiques, tapestries and artwork. Other highlights include the sun-drenched cobblestone courtyard and handsome Gothic chapel. Don't miss visiting the on-site museum to find out more about the unique history and heritage of the castle.
