About Hoengseong

Famed for its unique breed of Korean cattle known as Hanu, Hoengseong is a rural region on the edge of mountainous Chiaksan National Park. It’s within easy access of the snowfields at Wellihilli and the buzzing streets of Wonju.

Stretch your legs along one of the hiking trails through Chiaksan National Park, which encompasses a number of soaring peaks to the south of Hoengseong.
