You're welcome to stroll around the campus, visit the UofC Community Garden and mingle with local students at one of the bustling coffee shops. Olympic Oval is the university's signature sporting venue and was built for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. More than 12 speed skating records have been broken on the rink, which is the official home of the Canadian National Speed Skating team.
Getting there
The University of Calgary main campus is in the north-west quadrant of Calgary, a 15-minute drive from the downtown core. Parking is available on campus or local buses run from the city centre to the main campus in around 45 minutes. Calgary International Airport is a 30-minute drive away.
