About Australia Zoo

Made famous by the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, the Australia Zoo is home to over 1,200 native and exotic animals. Considered the most interactive wildlife adventure on the planet, here you can walk on the wild side by getting dingo kisses, hand-feeding giant tortoise and hanging out with a lemur.

Animal lovers will have the chance to get up close and personal with giraffes, rhinos, zebras and cheetahs at the African Savannah, while majestic tigers and red pandas await at the Southeast Asia exhibit. Don’t miss Bindi Island, where a three-storey treehouse gives you panoramic views of the entire zoo.

Ready to learn more about these fascinating creatures? Book an up close encounter with a kangaroo or see cheeky otters at the free wildlife shows. Watch as the animals roam free on open plains and state-of-the-art walk-through enclosures.
