As the southern terminus of the Gyeongbu Line, Busan Station has been serving local commuters since 1908. It occupies an architecturally-impressive glass terminal building encompassing almost 25,000 square metres and features an underground subway station on Busan’s Metro Line 1.
Watch the high-speed trains coming and going along the Gyeongbu Line, which links Busan with the capital of South Korea, Seoul. You can take advantage of the automatic ticket vending machines within Busan Station to purchase train or subway tickets, then relax in one of the waiting areas.
Feeling hungry? There are several convenience stores and fast-food restaurants inside Busan Station where you can grab a bite to eat, including Burger King, the Shilla Bakery and Angelinus. Browse the books and magazines for sale at the bookstore or utilise the lockers to store your luggage while you explore the surrounding neighbourhood of Choryang-dong.
Getting there
Busan Station is a 35-minute train ride from Gimhae International Airport, which has flights to destinations across Russia and Asia. It’s located across the street from Busan Chinatown and around 20 minutes’ walk from Busan Port. Busan Station is around 2.5 hours by train from Seoul Station.
