Fringed by sugar-white sand and rugged limestone cliffs, Dreamland Beach is one of Bali's hidden gems. It's set on the southern side of the Bukit Peninsula and features turquoise water and a laid-back atmosphere.
There are colourful deck chairs and parasols available to rent, as well as affordable massages on offer. Quench your thirst with fresh coconuts, soft drinks and ice-cold Bintang beers sold by local beach vendors. Dreamland Beach is known for its fiery sunsets, so pull up a chair and watch the sky glow in shades of red, yellow and gold.
Feel like treating yourself? Splurge on poolside drinks at the Klapa Beach Club. Golfers can tee off at the New Kuta Golf Course, an 18-hole course set on soaring cliffs overlooking the sparkling Indian Ocean. Surfers of all skill levels covet Dreamland Beach for its challenging reef break just offshore, while experienced surfers can also paddle out to world-class breaks like Balangan and Impossibles.
