Bradford Cathedral is a magnificent Gothic place of worship built in the 1400s. One of the oldest buildings in Yorkshire, the cathedral has a rich history of Christian worship dating back to the 8th century and is passionate about sharing the love of God and Jesus Christ. From refugee fundraisers to art exhibitions, Bradford Cathedral is committed to giving back to the community.
You’re welcome to attend daily worship services held at Bradford Cathedral, including morning prayers and evensong. Services are often accompanied by the enchanting Bradford Cathedral Choir, which has toured extensively across the United Kingdom.
Light streams into the cathedral through stunning stained glass windows depicting scenes from the Bible and symbols of the Christian faith. Some of the most beautiful windows were designed by iconic British designer, William Morris. The West Window is dedicated to female figures from the Bible and features vibrant shades of red, pink and purple.
